Sustainable Materials and Engineering (M.Sc.)

The Masterstudiengang 'Sustainable Materials and Engineering' at the Universität des Saarlandes takes a unique approach to sustainability, offering students a chance to work in the lab on real research projects from the first semester. The curriculum focuses on the interdisciplinary mix of chemistry, materials science, engineering and systems engineering, with a special emphasis on circular economy and sustainability. The lab course in the first semester includes a compulsory elective lab component that lets students dive into material selection, analysis, and recycling.
