Bachelor in Textildesign Fuer Die Museumspaedagogik

Textilkunst Textildesign (in German) uses methods of visualisation, lighting, and the use of textiles for museum education. The textile collection of the Anhaltische Landesgalerie Dessau was the inspiration for the exhibition of 2019 that showcased student works under the title 'Fragen an die Welt der Textilien'

This degree is for those who want to combine art and science, with a focus on textile arts. Students will explore the history, theory, and practice of textile design, and will have the opportunity to create their own exhibitions and installations.

The four-year programme includes courses on textile technology, art history, and museum studies. Students will also have the opportunity to work with textile materials in the school's laboratories, and to collaborate with partners such as the Textile Museum in Munich and the Allianz.
