Training of German Language Translators

The deadline to apply for the Oct 2027 intake is Oct 6, 2027. Tuition fees are 10,000 USD per year.

The Training of German Language Translators program is for individuals with a bachelor's or master's degree in German philology or related fields, offering a non-degree certification over one year with flexible online and in-person classes.

Students learn contrastive grammar, translation theory, and legal language, and participate in hands-on exercises in written and oral translation, preparing them for real-world tasks and the state exam for sworn translators.

Graduates can work as sworn translators, conference interpreters, or language consultants in legal, financial, or artistic fields, with skills that are transferable across industries for a successful career in translation and language services.
