About the Program

With the Umwelttechnik International (B.Sc.) programme graduates develop and monitor environmentally friendly and efficient production processes and products for national and international industrial firms. They work in NGOs for sustainable solutions, build and operate environmental and energy plants for energy and water supply companies, and plan and engineer energy and mobility solutions. They work for national or international authorities for environmental monitoring and for environmental consulting, energy management and assessment agencies.

An eight-semester programme, it includes a mandatory one-year international exchange at a partner university, such as the Swiss German University in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, where students can earn an additional international degree. The programme combines engineering education with international competence and development cooperation themes, featuring practical labs and small group exercises.
