For Master in Utveksling Biologi, tuition is 80,000 NOK per year; applications for the Sep 2027 intake are due by Aug 31, 2027.

Through the BIOVIT exchange, students can spend a semester at partner universities like Aberystwyth University, Acadia University, James Cook University, and Wageningen University, or at the UNIS campus. On exchange, students gain new perspectives in their field, build language skills, and expand their international network. The programme is recommended for students in their fifth semester, where the curriculum is flexible and allows for easier integration of an overseas study period.

Student Experience

Students returning from exchange programmes report transformative experiences, often citing it as a highlight of their academic journey. Prof. Simen Rød Sandve, the biologi programme leader, encourages all students to consider this opportunity.
