Visual Programming for Digital Construction

The Visual Programming for Digital Construction micro-credential is delivered over a single semester, comprising 15 credits of blended learning with part-time study and mandatory on-campus workshops.

It is aimed at individuals who already hold a level 8 (Honours) Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture and who are comfortable using BIM-related software. The course prepares them to apply node-based visual programming tools to automate workflows, generate complex geometry and explore API development, preparing them for roles as digital construction specialists. Successful graduates may continue onto the Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Master in BIM and Digital Leadership, or move directly into industry positions that require advanced visual scripting and generative design skills.
