Bachelor in Werkstätten

Students in the Bachelor Zeitbasierte Medien programme at Hochschule Mainz have access to a Greenscreen-Studio with 3D-capable HD-cameras, professional lighting and a sound studio with a recording booth suitable for vocalists.

This programme encourages interdisciplinary learning with students welcome to use the workshops of the Interior Architecture and Communication Design departments. Particularly of note is the Interaktive Prototypen und Interfaces lab, which allows students to create innovative interactive designs.

Some of the technical resources available for student projects include:

• a fully equipped, mobile HD-studio with 3D capabilities,
• several editing suites with Apple Power Macs, editing keyboards, and professional audio systems,
• PC workstations and Mac pools, and
• traditional 2D animation capture tables.
