Attestation d'études collégiales

At Cégep de Granby-Haute-Yamaska, applications for the Nov 2026 intake close on Oct 19, 2026.

This program prepares early childhood educators for paid work-study roles. It covers physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and language development for children from birth to age five. It also teaches how to support families in promoting balanced child development.

The program lasts 18 months and is fully online. Participants work 10 to 20 hours weekly at a licensed childcare centre or educational daycare. Classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Work occurs on Wednesdays and Fridays. Two in-person placements are required: one lasting 90 hours and another lasting 240 hours, both completed in the participant's region.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma, a vocational diploma, or have equivalent experience. A job offer or job promise from a participating childcare centre is required. The program begins on November 2, 2026. Applications are due by October 19, 2026, for those with a job offer.
