The Ulm Model, which combines the degree programme with recognised vocational training, such as an industrial mechanic or industrial clerk, introduces hands-on experience from the first semester. You’ll spend the first half-year at the company, where you’ll begin your apprenticeship and gain insights into various departments, assisting with production, quality management, and controlling, before alternating between theoretical and practical phases over 4.5 years (9 semesters).
