Master in BSc Honours Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence

Tuition comes to 18,000 GBP per year.

For students who thrive at the intersection of creative software engineering and advanced data science, this programme offers a direct route to building the next generation of intelligent systems. You will move beyond basic coding to master the architecture of machine learning models and the sophisticated software that powers them, gaining the technical fluency to automate complex tasks and derive actionable insights from massive datasets.

Applied Intelligence & Software Craft

The curriculum is built on a philosophy of practice-based learning. Rather than focusing solely on theoretical models, you will engage in:

• Real-world problem solving: Collaborating in teams to deliver software prototypes for genuine industry clients.
• Professional software engineering: Mastering the full lifecycle of development, from user requirements and database design to secure deployment.
• Ethical AI development: Critically examining the societal impact, bias, and professional responsibilities inherent in deploying artificial intelligence.

By integrating technical rigour with professional experience—including the option for a year-long industrial placement—you will graduate not just with a degree, but with a portfolio of live projects and the practical confidence to excel in roles ranging from machine learning engineer to software developer.
