Bachelor in BSc Honours Physiotherapy with Foundation Year

At Sheffield Hallam University, the tuition fee is 19,500 GBP per year.

Graduates of this programme go on to pursue vital careers as registered physiotherapists, working within the NHS, private healthcare clinics, sports clubs, and community support services. The programme is specifically designed for students who require additional foundational preparation before advancing to full degree-level physiotherapy studies, whether due to previous academic performance or a need for a more gradual transition into clinical education.

You will explore the four pillars of modern physiotherapy practice: clinical care, research, education, and leadership. The course curriculum ensures you become a resilient, autonomous professional capable of managing diverse health and social care challenges. By integrating biology, physics, and clinical reasoning, you will learn to empower individuals affected by injury, illness, or disability to improve their quality of life.

Integrated Clinical Excellence

A distinctive feature of this programme is its emphasis on inter-professional learning. You will collaborate with other allied health and social care students, reflecting the reality of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Through a combination of simulated environments, virtual placements, and real-world practice-based learning, you will gain the hands-on experience necessary to meet the standards required for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
