Stepping into the Future Now Festival of Creativity, you will see how students turn abstract spatial concepts into real-world solutions. This programme is built for those who want to master the intersection of interior design, architecture, and engineering, focusing on creating spaces that are as functional as they are evocative. Whether it is transforming a historic building for modern use or designing a sustainable retail environment, the course emphasizes design as a tool for social change and human well-being.

You will work within an immersive, cross-disciplinary studio environment that mirrors professional practice. By engaging with live projects—such as the PACT House refurbishment, where students designed a specialized space for families of children undergoing cancer treatment—you will learn that high-level design requires empathy, resilience, and a deep understanding of the people who inhabit a room. The curriculum is rooted in technical precision, utilizing the latest 3D media technologies, while championing inclusive and sustainable design strategies.

A Foundation for Creative Practice

The course begins with a dedicated foundation year, which serves as a gateway into the creative industries. You will experiment with diverse materials, participate in collaborative workshops, and develop the academic and practical confidence required for advanced study. This year is designed to foster a sense of community, allowing you to build a unique portfolio and refine your individual design voice before progressing into the core interior architecture modules.
