Bachelor in BSc Honours Physiotherapy with Foundation Year

At Sheffield Hallam University, tuition fees are 20,400 GBP per year.

This degree programme is specifically designed to integrate you into the four pillars of modern physiotherapy practice: clinical care, research, education, and leadership. By embedding practice-based learning across diverse healthcare settings from the outset, the course ensures that you develop the professional identity and clinical reasoning required to assist individuals affected by injury, illness, and disability.

Integrated Clinical Practice

A distinctive feature of this programme is the collaborative, inter-professional approach. You will learn alongside students from other allied health and social care disciplines, mirroring the reality of modern multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This collaborative ethos is supported by high-quality simulation facilities and real-world clinical placements, preparing you to deliver autonomous, person-centred care.

The inclusion of a Foundation Year provides a supportive entry route, perfect for those who require additional academic preparation or who may not meet the standard requirements for direct entry to the BSc. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, both of which are essential for professional practice in the UK.
