This certificate program is delivered in person, online, or hybrid based on student needs. It lasts one to two terms depending on full-time or part-time status. Students strengthen English and math skills through small group instruction, one-on-one support, and independent learning. The program prepares learners for Grade 10-12 College Preparation courses or the workforce.

One to two terms, full-time or part-time. Includes 12 credits for Foundational English Language Arts and 8 credits for Foundational Mathematics.

Graduates can advance to Grade 10-12 College Preparation courses, enter the workforce with improved communication and numeracy, or earn a High School Equivalency Diploma.

Must be 18 years or older. Must show academic skills below Grade 10 through transcripts or an ACCUPLACER placement test. Must earn at least 60% in both AFL 100 and AFM 100. International students must meet one of: TOEFL iBT 40, IELTS Academic 5.0, CLBPT/CLBA no score below 5.0, CELPIP General 5.0, or Duolingo 70.
