The program covers accounting principles, financial reporting, business law, and data analytics using QuickBooks, Excel, and Sage 50. It runs for four semesters and offers full-time and part-time study. Courses are available in person, online, or in a hybrid format to fit your schedule.

Students complete 60 credits through core courses in accounting, finance, business statistics, and management. Two pathways are available for introductory accounting. Electives are transferable to universities in British Columbia and Alberta. Practical training and projects provide hands-on experience.

The Co-operative Education Program allows students to earn income while gaining work experience. The program prepares students for entry-level roles in accounting and finance. Students must complete 50% of courses at Douglas College and maintain a 2.00 GPA. The program is offered in Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
