Hone your craft as both an actor and a creator within the supportive, collaborative environment of the London College of Music. This degree is specifically tailored for practitioners who wish to move beyond traditional performance to investigate the intersection of theatre languages, including text, music, spatial design, and physicality. You will engage with diverse creative processes, from the adaptation of existing dramatic material to the generation of entirely original, contemporary work.

Practice-Research Integration

The core of this programme lies in the synthesis of studio practice and critical research. You will not only master the embodiment of character within varied socio-political and cultural contexts but also develop the professional skills necessary to facilitate workshops, lead rehearsals, and curate performance events. By completing a final Practice-Research Project, you will contribute original findings to the field, positioning yourself as an independent theatre practitioner capable of navigating the complex demands of the modern creative industries.
