Tallinn University’s Center for Educational Innovation provides a vital support network for educators navigating the critical first years of their professional life. This programme is specifically crafted for school teachers with up to three years of experience, recognizing that the initial stages of a teaching career are a period of rapid evolution, discovery, and unique challenges.

By fostering a community of practice, the programme helps participants build a robust professional foundation. It focuses on the development of teacher identity, the refinement of pedagogical skills, and the maintenance of personal well-being. Participants are encouraged to reflect deeply on their classroom experiences, transforming daily challenges into opportunities for growth. Through this structured approach, teachers move toward becoming confident and intentional facilitators of learning.

Programme Support and Structure

The initiative is supported by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, ensuring that teachers receive high-quality guidance while transitioning into their new roles. Graduates of this programme are awarded a Tallinn University certificate, formalizing their engagement in this professional development pathway.
