Bachelor in Angewandte Hebammenwissenschaft BSc

Prof. Dr. Barbara Cattarius leads the Bachelor of Science in Applied Midwifery at the htw saar, whose students receive a stipend during their 7-semester programme. The programme integrates extensive practical phases that are closely linked with the theoretical content taught in the Skills Lab. Students benefit from the support of an experienced team of professors and practitioners, including Prof. Lisa Welcland and Sarah Schädler-Aust, M.A. The programme follows the guidelines of the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and prepares students for a wide range of professional settings, from hospitals and clinics to independent practice.
