The Hebammenwissenschaft Bachelor programme includes a dual, praxis-integrated structure, combining theoretical studies at the Hochschule Furtwangen (HFU) with practical training in cooperating hospitals.

This seven-semester programme offers a Bachelor of Science degree and state recognition as a midwife. You will spend significant time in Skills-Labs and work with partners including the Evangelisches Diakoniekrankenhaus in Freiburg, Gesundheitsverbund Landkreis Konstanz (GLKN) gGmbH, and Ortenau Klinikum.

The curriculum covers a broad range of topics, from anatomy and communication to quality management and ethics, ensuring that you are well-prepared for the complexities of the midwifery profession. The HSU campus at Furtwangen is the place to study, with the course starting in the third week of September.
