About Applied Data Analytics

The Applied Data Analytics graduate certificate prepares students to work as data analysts and related professionals. Students develop skills in data analysis, management, visualization, and interpretation using industry-standard tools. The program focuses on hands-on learning with real-world applications across the data lifecycle. Graduates are qualified to support evidence-based decision-making in data-driven organizations.

One-year program with two academic semesters and an optional four-month work term. Courses include data analysis, statistical modelling, visualization, and a capstone project. No co-op or practicum is required but an optional work term is available.

Graduates enter roles such as data analyst, business analyst, financial analyst, and data scientist in industries like finance, healthcare, retail, and government.

College diploma or degree. Or three years of related industry experience with a resume and letter of intent. Proof of English language proficiency required for internationally educated applicants.

In-person, full-time, one year with optional work term.
