Master in Applied Surface and Material Sciences (master)

Graduates of the Applied Surface and Material Sciences MSc programme have gone on to work in fields such as paint, corrosion and coating technology, and related areas. This is a 3-semester programme, based at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, which teaches skills in technologies such as surface chemistry and process engineering, materials science, and corrosion protection.

You will learn both the theoretical and practical sides. Teaching combines lectures with laboratory exercises and projects. Students also benefit from the expertise of the CAD/CAM centre, and the library, which has extensive resources. The programme culminates in a Master's thesis and a graduation party.
