Master in Archäologie der Römischen Provinzen

At University of Bamberg, tuition fees are 70 EUR per year.

This programme begins with the study of the material remains of the Roman provinces, focusing on settlements, military structures, and everyday culture. It is ideal for students who are fascinated by the historical and cultural diversity of the Roman provinces and wish to engage with real archaeological finds, architectural structures, and a wealth of written and visual sources.

The programme is particularly strong in its interdisciplinary approach, drawing from fields such as prehistory, classical archaeology, historical geography, and ancient history. Students gain practical experience through fieldwork, excavations, and laboratory analysis, and can choose from a broad range of elective modules to tailor their studies.
