Ontario College Advanced Diploma

At Collège Boréal, tuition is CAD 18,000 per year (international).

This program trains students to become architectural technologists through a six-semester, on-campus curriculum in Sudbury. It combines practical and theoretical skills in design, construction, and project management. Students learn to use 3D modelling, computer-aided design, and building science to support architectural projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. The program prepares graduates for roles in architectural firms, government agencies, construction companies, and building material suppliers.

Students study building codes, construction methods, materials, and sustainable design principles. They develop skills in technical drawing, project documentation, cost estimation, and collaboration with professionals in structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. The curriculum includes hands-on work with design software, site planning, and construction detailing. Assessment is based on project work, technical drawings, and practical application of industry standards.

Graduates receive an Ontario College Advanced Diploma and are prepared to work in the field immediately. They can pursue careers in architectural technology, construction supervision, or building inspection. The program supports post-graduation work opportunities in Canada for eligible international students, and graduates may continue professional development through industry certifications.
