Bachelor in Architecture

This program covers the design, planning, and construction principles behind buildings and the built environment, combining creative design work with technical engineering knowledge. Students study architectural design studios, building materials and structures, architectural history, urban planning concepts, and computer-aided design tools used throughout the profession. Coursework typically progresses through increasingly complex design projects, requiring students to consider function, aesthetics, structural feasibility, and environmental context. Graduates pursue careers as architects, urban planners, interior designers, and construction project consultants, working in architectural firms, government planning bodies, and construction companies. The program is taught in English over 4 years at American University of Cyprus, a private institution located in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus.
