Bachelor in Architecture

Architecture is concerned with the design of buildings and the spaces around them, combining artistic, technical, and social considerations in the planning of the built environment. Coursework typically includes architectural design studios, building technology, structural systems, history of architecture, and urban design, with studio-based projects forming a central part of the curriculum. Graduates work in architectural practices, urban planning offices, and construction-related fields, or pursue further study in architecture or urban design. This bachelor program is taught in English over 4 years at Eastern Mediterranean University in Gazimağusa, Northern Cyprus. The program is organized around studio-based design work paired with technical and theoretical coursework, intended to develop the design thinking and technical knowledge needed to practice architecture.
