Tuition fees are 750 EUR per year.

Architecture is a graduate field that trains students in the design of buildings and spaces, combining creative, technical, and theoretical knowledge. Coursework typically includes architectural design studios, the history and theory of architecture, building technology and construction, urban design, and the study of structural and environmental systems that shape how buildings function. Students develop skills in conceptualizing, drawing, and modeling architectural projects, while also learning to consider practical constraints such as materials, structural feasibility, and the social and environmental context of a site. The field often places strong emphasis on studio-based, project-driven learning, where students work through the design process from initial concept to detailed proposal. This master's degree in Architecture is offered by Università IUAV di Venezia, located in Venezia, Italy, is taught in English, and spans two years. Graduates typically pursue careers as architects, working in architecture firms, urban planning offices, or construction and design consultancies, and some move into related fields such as interior design, landscape architecture, or heritage conservation. In a country with an extensive historic built environment, graduates may also find opportunities in restoration and adaptive reuse projects that require balancing preservation with contemporary design needs. The training develops both creative design ability and technical competence in construction and building systems, preparing graduates to manage projects from early design stages through construction oversight. Given the discipline's global relevance, many architecture graduates also pursue international careers, working on projects that require sensitivity to different regulatory, cultural, and environmental contexts across various regions.
