Graduates of the Masterstudiengang Architektur (M.A.) at the Jade Hochschule in Oldenburg are well-prepared for various roles in architecturbüros, the building industry, construction trade, and public administration, or to work independently as architects. They may also pursue careers in research, with the qualification to pursue a doctorate. The programme, accredited by the Architecture Chamber, includes modules like 'Entwurf und Detail', 'Nachhaltiger Entwurf', and an individual design project, with a focus on sustainable construction and practical experience through site visits, 1:1 projects, and collaborations with cultural and economic institutions, including opportunities to participate in student competitions and excursions.

This four-semester programme, which is also suitable for part-time studies, delves into increasingly complex architectural design and planning tasks. Students learn to detail design ideas, manage the interplay of design, construction, and various requirements, and address theoretical issues in architecture and urban planning. Sustainability is a key focus, encompassing ecological, economic, and sociocultural considerations throughout the building lifecycle.
