This programme is for recent graduates and career changers with creative interests. Students learn drawing, digital design, colour theory, painting, and 2D and 3D design. They develop visual literacy and build a portfolio through core and elective courses. The curriculum uses traditional media and emerging technology. Students prepare for further study in design fields.

Focus areas include Animation, Painting Studio, Photography, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design.

2 semesters, 65% minimum GPA required, no co-op or practicum stated.

Graduates may pursue roles in industrial design, interior design, graphic design, web design, and architecture.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent with Grade 12 English and three additional Grade 11 or 12 C, M, or U courses. Mature student status or college/university transfer status accepted. International applicants must meet English language proficiency requirements and provide credential evaluations.

On-campus, full-time, 2 semesters.
