Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering

At Istanbul Technical University, tuition fees are 99,000 TRY per year.

Artificial intelligence and data engineering focuses on the design and development of systems that collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data, along with the algorithms that enable machine learning and automated decision-making. Coursework typically includes programming, data structures and algorithms, machine learning, statistics and probability, database systems, and data infrastructure design, alongside courses on the mathematical foundations of artificial intelligence. Students build practical skills through programming projects and hands-on work with data pipelines, model training, and evaluation, often applying these techniques to problems such as prediction, classification, and automation. Graduates work as data engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and software developers, in technology companies, financial institutions, research organizations, and virtually any sector that analyzes large datasets. This program is offered by Istanbul Technical University in İstanbul, Turkey, and is taught in English over a duration of 4 years. Istanbul Technical University offers this program within a university known for strong computing and engineering faculties, giving students access to a technically oriented academic environment for the study of data and artificial intelligence systems. English-medium instruction supports engagement with international technical literature, open-source tools, and a global technology industry that operates primarily in English. The İstanbul location connects students to Turkey's growing technology sector, including software companies, startups, and research centers based in the city. Over the 4-year curriculum, students typically progress from foundational programming and mathematics courses toward specialized coursework in machine learning, data systems, and artificial intelligence methods, often concluding with a capstone project.
