About Automation and Simulation | Summer School

This Summer School covers the fundamentals of automation and simulation in a context relevant to mechanical engineering and modern manufacturing. The simulation component is delivered through computer lab exercises in which students apply industry software to solve real problems and gain insight into the research methods used at the institute. The automation component surveys modern automated production systems and computer-integrated manufacturing, including the smart infrastructures driving Industry 4.0 transformation.
