Bachelor in BA (Hons) Game Design

At University of Wolverhampton, tuition is 17,600 GBP per year.

If you are passionate about creating video games, have a solid grounding in art, design or computing and have achieved at least CCC/BCD at A-level or equivalent BTEC grades, this BA (Hons) Game Design will build on those foundations and is delivered over three full-time years, progressing from core principles to advanced interactive and XR projects.

You will create playable games each semester.

Each week you work in specialist labs that provide dual-screen workstations, motion-capture suites and industry-standard software, producing prototypes, playable builds and a portfolio piece. Regular workshops with practising developers and collaborative projects with animation and film students ensure you apply theory to real-world production. Project work is complemented by a professional placement in the final year, giving industry experience and networking opportunities.
