Tuition fees are 17,600 GBP per year.

If you have a portfolio of visual work and wish to build a professional career in graphic design, this BA (Hons) with a foundation year offers a clear route from entry level to full honours qualification. The programme begins with a one-year foundation that consolidates skills in drawing, digital media and creative thinking, before progressing to three years of specialist design study. Full-time students complete the degree in four years, while part-time learners spread the same content over eight years, allowing flexibility for those who need to balance work or other commitments.

Throughout the course you move between studio practice, theory and industry engagement, producing client-led briefs and developing an individual portfolio that reflects your creative interests. The teaching environment includes professional studio spaces, access to laser cutters, Risograph printers and immersive design technologies, and regular input from practising designers ensures the work stays aligned with current practice.

• Built around real-world projects, agency simulations and client-led briefs
• Integration of professional studio spaces and commercial-standard facilities
• Access to a wide range of digital and physical production tools, including laser cutters and Risograph printers
• Strong links with industry and guest input from working designers and agencies
