Bachelor of Data Science

For Bachelor of Data Science, the tuition fee is 66,750 AED per year.

Data science is the discipline of extracting insight from data using statistics, programming and computational methods, and the Bachelor of Data Science at Higher Colleges of Technology builds a foundation across these areas. Students typically study statistics and probability, programming languages used for data analysis, database concepts, data visualization, and an introduction to machine learning techniques for identifying patterns and making predictions from data. Coursework in this field usually also covers how to clean and prepare raw data, how to interpret analytical results, and how to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences. Many programs include practical projects where students work with real or realistic datasets to practice the full process of collecting, analyzing and presenting data-driven conclusions. Because instruction is in English, students gain the English-language technical vocabulary used throughout the global data science and analytics profession. Graduates of data science programs commonly move into roles such as data analyst, junior data scientist, business intelligence analyst, reporting analyst or data engineer, working across sectors including finance, retail, technology, logistics and government. The skills developed in a data science degree also support further study at postgraduate level in data science, analytics or related computing fields. Based in Dubai, students are positioned in a market where organizations across banking, aviation, logistics, tourism and government services are increasingly investing in data-driven decision-making, creating demand for graduates able to work with data and statistics. A bachelor's degree of this kind gives students both the technical grounding in programming and statistics and the analytical thinking needed to support data-related roles across the United Arab Emirates and internationally.
