Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing

At Canadian University Dubai, the tuition fee is 74,881 AED per year.

Cloud computing is the branch of computer science focused on delivering computing resources such as servers, storage, databases, and software over the internet rather than through locally owned infrastructure. A bachelor's program in this field typically covers programming fundamentals, computer networks, operating systems, database management, and the architecture of major cloud platforms, alongside topics such as virtualization, containerization, and distributed systems design. Students often study how organizations migrate services to the cloud, how cloud resources are provisioned and scaled, and how security and data protection are managed in cloud environments. Coursework generally combines theoretical grounding in computer science with hands-on labs that let students configure and deploy cloud-based systems, practice automation and scripting, and work through case studies of real deployment scenarios. Many programs also introduce related areas such as cybersecurity, DevOps practices, and data analytics, since cloud infrastructure increasingly underpins these functions. Graduates typically pursue roles such as cloud engineer, systems administrator, DevOps engineer, network engineer, or IT infrastructure specialist, working for organizations that operate their own cloud environments or for providers that deliver cloud services to other businesses. The field spans nearly every industry, since cloud infrastructure now supports operations in finance, healthcare, retail, government, and beyond. The Bachelor of Science in Cloud Computing is offered at Canadian University Dubai, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with instruction delivered in English. The program operates under accreditation by the UAE Commission for Academic Accreditation.
