From personal laptops to high-tech defense programs, computer engineers create and test computer programs, hardware and software to determine the best ways to upgrade and use the technology. The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Gallogly College of Engineering offers students professional courses using the most up-to-date technology. Students learn both in the classroom and through hands-on experiences. In their final course, students work in teams to solve a real-life engineering problem giving OU graduates an advantage over classroom-only education.
