Bachelor in Marketing Management

In March 2025, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC), a joint venture between Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University, officially renamed itself Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU).

The general educational objectives of the programme are to enable students to benefit from a broad-based education as they pursue a business education with a specialisation in Marketing Management. Accordingly, students will be required to study a range of general education, business and marketing courses to achieve a balanced liberal arts and business education. This is consistent with UIC’s mission of providing its students with a whole person education that prepares them for lifelong learning. Business courses focus on the knowledge and skills expected of today's business and business leaders and marketing management courses provide an emphasis in the major specialism.

This programme also helps develop students’ marketing and strategic competencies, in preparing them to be competitive and proficient marketing professionals in the global environment. Students will learn important and up-to-date marketing knowledge, gain practical experience and sharpen their business acumen through various industry and academic activities.

Graduate and Career Prospects

In recent years, more than 60% of this programme’s graduates received postgraduate study offers from universities including from many placed on the Top 100 QS World University Rankings. These universities include Columbia University, John Hopkins University, Boston University, King‘s College London, University College London, University of Warwick, University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Queensland, Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, and many others. Graduates of this programme also developed careers in consumer marketing, business-to-business marketing, advertising, marketing research, public relations and digital marketing, in well-known organizations such as Huawei, L’Oreal, Wrigley’s, Procter and Gamble, China Construction Bank, and Johnson & Johnson.

Situated in Zhuhai, Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong. BNBU shoulders the historical mission of advancing the internationalization of Chinese higher education and taking the lead in implementing liberal arts education in China.

BNBU is located in the beautiful coastal city of Zhuhai in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As one of China's most liveable cities, Zhuhai is adjacent to Macao and Hong Kong, connected by the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. International Higher Education

With English as the medium of instruction, BNBU's education is of international standards with high-caliber academic performance. The college has established the Divisions of Business and Management, Culture and Creativity, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, in addition to the Graduate School. Altogether BNBU offers 28 undergraduate programmes, and is approved to offer nine research and five taught postgraduate programmes for over 7,000 students. Undergraduates receive HKBU Bachelor's Degrees and BNBU Graduation Certificates, and postgraduates earn HKBU degrees.

Liberal Arts College

Aiming to serve China and the world, BNBU has built a new model for liberal arts education in China by tapping into traditional Chinese and Western cultural resources.
