Bachelor in BEng (Hons) Automotive Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Automotive Engineering programme at Heriot-Watt University Dubai allows students to specialise in automotive technology subjects in the later years. Students can join the HWU Formula Students Team, HWRacing, to design, build, and race an F1-style car annually.

This programme focuses on the engineering principles that underpin the design and operation of vehicles, with a strong emphasis on the processes of design and manufacture. Students explore areas such as transport, manufacturing, and vehicle dynamics, applying mathematics and physics to real-world problems. Graduates are well-positioned for management roles in professional engineering or for further study in the field.
