Bachelor in BEng Mechanical Engineering with a Year Abroad 2026/27

Mechanical engineering investigates how forces, motion and energy are applied in devices from household appliances to renewable power systems. The BEng programme covers the core concepts of fluid and solid mechanics, thermodynamics, control and manufacturing, and builds the analytical and problem-solving abilities required to deliver reliable, efficient solutions.

A hallmark of this course is the compulsory third-year abroad, where students attend a partner university and acquire international experience together with technical expertise. Moreover, students have access to the Productivity East hub, which includes CAD workstations, 3D printers, subtractive manufacturing tools and collaborative robots, enabling practical work that mirrors current industry practice.
