The Lean Construction module introduces the five lean principles and shows how they can be applied to improve productivity on construction sites. It also covers the interaction between Lean methods and Building Information Modelling, giving learners a clear view of how value-adding activities can be maximised while waste is reduced. This programme is aimed at construction professionals, recent graduates or anyone with a background in the built environment who wants to develop practical skills in BIM and lean processes. It addresses the growing demand for managers who can integrate digital modelling with efficient project delivery.

Delivered online on a part-time basis, the one-year programme comprises five-credit modules: Project Planning, Lean Construction, Building Information Modelling, Project Management Simulation and Project Implementation. A total of 25 credits are awarded upon successful completion. The curriculum combines theoretical foundations with hands-on simulation of real-world projects, enabling participants to practice planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement and BIM collaboration. Successful graduates are prepared for roles such as BIM manager, lean construction consultant or project manager in construction-focused organisations.
