Master in Bioanalytical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis (MSc)

The MSc in Bioanalytical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis at Hochschule Fresenius provides specialised knowledge in analytical chemistry, bioanalysis, and quality assurance. The programme focuses on pharmaceutical analysis, clinical analysis, and forensics, combining theoretical instruction with practical laboratory applications. Key subject areas include analysis of biomolecules, pharmacology and toxicology, clinical and biochemical analysis, methods of structural analysis, analytical data science and pharmacophore models, forensic, food and pharmaceutical analysis, advanced large molecule separation, and pharmaceutical analysis and drug discovery. The programme runs over 4 semesters starting in the winter semester, with applications accepted throughout the year. Students may also choose a one-year fast track option or pursue the programme part-time over three semesters, depending on academic background and professional experience. The programme is based at Hochschule Fresenius in Idstein.
