Master in Bioética

Tuition fees are 2,701 EUR per year.

Bioethics addresses the moral questions that arise in medicine, healthcare, biological research, public health, and the life sciences. Graduate programs in this field draw on philosophy, law, theology, medicine, and the social sciences to examine issues such as informed consent, end-of-life decision-making, resource allocation, research ethics, genetic technologies, reproductive medicine, and the ethical governance of emerging biotechnologies. Students develop frameworks for reasoning carefully about difficult cases and for contributing to ethical deliberation in institutional settings. Graduates work in clinical ethics committees, hospital administration, health policy, regulatory agencies, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, academic philosophy, and international health organizations. The demand for professionals with formal bioethics training has grown as healthcare systems, research institutions, and governments face increasingly complex questions at the intersection of science, medicine, and human values. Bioética is a one-year master's degree offered at Rey Juan Carlos University in Móstoles, Spain, with annual tuition of €2,701.20.
