About Master in Biologie International.Html

The Master programme in Human- und Molekularbiologie international is a binational collaboration between the University of Saarland and the Université de Strasbourg. This programme combines the strengths of two distinct educational systems, offering a solid theoretical foundation combined with intensive experimental lab work in the first year at the University of Saarland, including modules such as ADV I – Genetisch bedingte Erkrankungen und Epigenetik, ADV II – Signalleitung und Transport, and ADV III – Hormone, Stress und Gedächtnis.

Students spend their first year at their home university and the second year at the partner university, with all courses and exams from the home university recognised by the partner university. Upon successful completion, students earn a double master’s degree, with the option to pursue a doctoral degree and earn a dual PhD. The programme is supported by the Deutsch-Französische Hochschule, which provides financial support during the study abroad phase and offers preparatory language courses.
