Biomedical Science at the University of Portsmouth offers an accredited degree with a mandatory requirement for working in the NHS post-graduation. The programme includes an optional work placement year at an Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) approved clinical training laboratory, and eligibility to register as a Biomedical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
