Bachelor in Bsc Statistics Including Placement Year

Tuition is 25,700 GBP per year.

In an era defined by data, the ability to extract meaningful patterns from uncertainty is the defining challenge of modern science and industry. This BSc Statistics programme provides a rigorous mathematical foundation for those looking to master the tools of probability, statistical inference, and computational analysis. By bridging pure mathematical theory with real-world applications, students learn to model complex systems, predict future trends, and provide evidence-based insights.

The Placement Advantage

What sets this programme apart is the integrated placement year. Rather than treating theory as an abstract pursuit, you will test your skills in professional environments, gaining 12 months of industry experience before your final year. This transition from lecture theatre to workplace ensures that graduates are not only technically proficient but also commercially aware, having navigated the challenges of data handling in sectors ranging from finance and government to healthcare and technology.
