Bachelor in BTS - Agricole - Gestion forestière

For Bachelor in BTS - Agricole - Gestion forestière, the tuition fee is 178 EUR per year.

The BTS Agricole - Gestion forestière (Agricultural Higher Technician Certificate — Forest Management) is a two-year program at the Ecole Forestière de Meymac in Meymac, France. Forest management as a discipline covers the planning, supervision, and sustainable use of forested land and timber resources. Students typically study silviculture, forest ecology, tree biology, inventory methods, harvesting techniques, land surveying, environmental regulation, and the economic management of forested estates. The program combines classroom instruction with practical field experience, preparing graduates to work as forest technicians, estate managers, or advisors for public forestry bodies, private landowners, or regional agencies responsible for natural resource management. The Ecole Forestière de Meymac is a specialist institution dedicated to forestry training, situated in the heavily forested Corrèze region of central France, which provides an appropriate natural context for field-based learning. The BTS qualification sits at the same level as the first two years of a university licence and may serve as a stepping stone to further study or direct professional employment. The program opens in September and the annual tuition is 178 EUR. Teaching is conducted entirely in French.
