This program focuses on sustainable building operation expertise for careers in building automation systems. Students gain skills in monitoring and adjusting energy usage within buildings. They work directly on real building automation systems using data analysis and control system implementation. The program prepares graduates for roles in energy management and building optimization.

One year, 1526X01FWO, includes field projects as part of the curriculum.

Graduates may work as building automation system operators, technicians, or consultants in energy management and sustainable building operations.

Ontario College Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in electrical, instrumentation, electronics, IT, building science, controls, or mechanical fields. Or a diploma in a non-electrical field with three years of related work experience. International applicants must provide proof of subject-specific requirements and language proficiency. IELTS overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, or TOEFL iBT overall 90 with minimums of Reading 22, Listening 22, Speaking 22, Writing 24, or Duolingo overall 120 with no score below 105.

On-campus, full-time, one year.
