Graduates of the Business and Insurance diploma move into roles such as insurance underwriters, claims adjusters, brokers, loss adjusters or risk-management specialists. Employers include large insurance firms, government agencies and independent brokerage practices, and many alumni progress to the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

The programme runs over two years, divided into four academic semesters and three paid co-operative work terms. Core business subjects such as accounting, finance and communication are combined with specialised insurance modules covering underwriting, claims management, risk assessment and commercial law, preparing students for professional licensing exams.
