Bachelor in Business in Tourism

The Industry Skills module gives students hands-on experience in bar, restaurant and accommodation operations, providing 10 credits of practical training that links directly to everyday work in tourism and hospitality settings. Each week students rotate through simulated service environments, develop drink-making techniques, learn room-service standards and practise customer-care skills under the guidance of industry practitioners.

The two-year programme blends classroom theory with field work, including site visits to hotels, event venues and digital technology labs. A compulsory summer work placement prepares graduates for immediate employment, while modules such as Information and Digital Technologies and Essentials of Business build the analytical and digital competence needed across the sector. The course suits candidates who wish to launch careers in hotel management, event planning or tourism operations.

• Industry Skills – 10 credits of practical bar, restaurant and accommodation training
• Summer work placement – mandatory industry experience before graduation
• Information and Digital Technologies – 5 credits covering ICT tools for the sector
