Master in Business Information Systems – Advanced Analytics

The Master of Science in Business Information Systems at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) is an application-oriented programme that covers the intersection of computer science, business administration, and quantitative methods. Students choose from three specialisations: Advanced Analytics, which focuses on statistical analysis, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making; Information Systems Engineering, which addresses the design, implementation, and security of complex information systems; and Business Engineering, which centres on business process optimisation and change management through IT solutions. The English-taught variant of the programme is available exclusively within the Advanced Analytics specialisation, while the other two specialisations are taught in German. The programme runs for three semesters. The MSc title qualifies graduates for doctoral studies or higher civil service positions. The programme starts in either the winter or summer semester and is based at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Friedberg (Hessen), Germany.
