Whether performing in an ensemble you founded yourself or gaining clinical experience for a future in music therapy, this programme is built to bridge the gap between artistic passion and professional reality. The BA Music at Plymouth acknowledges that paths in the creative industries rarely follow a linear trajectory; instead, it fosters the flexibility and commercial awareness required to navigate a competitive field.

Professional Development at the Core

Students engage with a dedicated professional development programme designed to ensure every proficient graduate leaves with a robust, employable CV. By integrating critical reflection with practical skill-building—such as performing under pressure and collaborative teamwork—the course prepares you for diverse roles across publishing, media, health, and the performing arts. Beyond technical musicianship, the curriculum hones the transferable administrative and management skills that allow graduates to thrive in sectors well outside the traditional stage.
